Beauty of Indonesia : Sempu Island





Lets forget comforting world  when entering modern conservation forests that conceal a spectacular lagoon in East Java. Remote areas are famous among the travelers named Sempu Island. for example: Java monkey (Tracypithecus auratus), a black monkey (Presbitis Pyrrha cristata), Kera Gray / Grey Macaques (Macaca fascicularis), wild boar (Sus sp), deer (Muntiacus muntjak), deer / elk small (Tragulus javanicus), shrimp (Alcedo Athis), fish belodok (Periopthalmus sp), crab (Ocypoda stimsoni), and many more. There are also several types of reptiles, including giant lizards and snakes as well as several species of birds find shelter on the island.



Located 80 km from the city of Malang, or approximately 180 km from Surabaya, the capital of East Java, the best way to reach the island is by renting a car Sempu or arrange package trips. The journey from Surabaya to Malang will take about 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic conditions.

From Blue Spring Turen to relatively narrow streets and little spotty, some roads are not in perfect condition, especially roads approaching the coast.
